Bright rose, with carmine center, a very fresh shade of color; not fragrant; free bloomer; wood nearly smooth. This variety, with its numerous progeny, is more tender than any of the other types in the class. A beautiful rose. Paul Neyron.—Vig. A seedling from Victor Verdier, fertilized by Anne de Diesbach. Deep rose color; good tough foliage, wood rather smooth; by far the largest variety in cultivation. A free bloomer. Very desirable as a garden rose; valuable for forcing. See cut.
