The statue of a wonded amazon warior in Ecija in Andalusia in southern Spain. The statue was found in Ecija during excavations for an underground parking garage. The original is thought to be Greek and this is one of several known Roman copies. Other copies are in museums in New York City and Berlin. The Ecija statue is thought to be one of the better preserved.
