Auctioneer and star of BBC’s ‘Flog It’, ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’ and ‘Antiques Road Trip’ shows, James Lewis, is attempting to beat the world record for the longest ever auction by a single auctioneer on 28th November at Westfield Shopping Centre, Derby, UK. TV antiques expert and auctioneer James Lewis gets ready to drop the gavel on a Vauxhall Corsa car, the star lot amongst 2,200 lots he will be auctioning for charity while bidding to break the world record for the longest auction ever taken by a single auctioneer. Lots up for grabs during the 24 hour bidding marathon include a guitar made, played and signed by Queen star Brian May, holidays and experiences, and a Albert Square sign signed by the cast of Eastenders. The Grand Charity Auction is set to run until 18:30 Friday 29 November at the Westfield Derby shopping centre and aims to raise tens of thousands of pounds for ten charities.
