A loving reunion. Alaska, USA: THESE IMAGES show two adult bears wrestling and making friends at the end with the biggest bear hug imaginable. Approximately 4,000 coastal bears live in Alaska, often being confused for grizzly bears. They can live up to 30 years old. These images were taken by naturalist guide and photographer Brad Josephs (47) at Katmai National Park in Alaska, Sony A9. ?The hugging bears are a sibling pair, dark brother and blond sister, around six years old, who I have seen every summer since they were 6 month old cubs with their mom,? said Brad. ?They were forced to be independent from their mother two years ago, but often still hang out together. ?They had seemed to be apart for a few days, and when they rejoined each other, they hugged each other, smelled noses, and appeared to be delighted to be back together. ?It is a very exciting, intimate thrill to be around bears, on the ground and unarmed. ?We are mutually trusting each other, and reading each others body language. ?This, however, should only be done by or with very experienced mediadrumimages/BradJosephs
