Dick Wright was perhaps the mostattractive wrestler of modern times; and the agility he some-times displayed was marvellous. He frequently threw a somer-sault over his fallen foe, but then Wright was a very unsafewrestler, and often went down before men considerably hisinferiors. The Cumberland and Westmoreland style of wrestling isnow known throughout the length and breadth of the land; yeta brief summary of the rules and regulations laid down for theguidance of competitors may not be out of place here.
