While this is given by avery competent authority, I am inclined to think that this anticline hadbeen assumed to extend farther to the west than the facts warrant, prob-ably on the strength of examinations made farther east. Along San Antone Creek, near the northwest corner of this tract,all the exposed strata dip to the north. Along Oil Well Canon they dipto the northeast and southwest respectively, but the exposures on thetwo sides do not correspond, and I consider this canon as exposing afault line, the sout
