Antony Gormley’s life-sized iron sculpture of a human figure standing at the rocky waters edge at Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset, England, United Kingdom.

Antony Gormley’s life-sized iron sculpture of a human figure was installed at the waters edge of Kimmeridge Bay in May 2015. It is the last of a series of five pieces called “Land”, which were commissioned to mark the 50th anniversary of the Landmark Trust. Each artwork stands near a building that has been rescued by the Trust. At Kimmeridge, perched on the cliff top above the sculpture, stands the Clavell Tower which between 2006-08 was dismantled and then moved, brick by brick, 25 metres back from the crumbling cliff edge to prevent it from tumbling into the sea. About a week after these photographs were taken the sculpture itself toppled over into the waves during stormy weather.
