As a result there was added to the pit housea shed, 115 ft. x 75 ft., for shop purposes. The steelframe for this shed was all salvaged, as it originallyformed the shed covering the wye on the elevated roadat the old Union Depot. As the trusses had a spanof 75 ft. the only alteration required in the steel wasto splice out the columns so that eventually a secondfloor could be added to the building.
