An expedition team hikes to document a cave called El Cenote inside Conturines Spitze.

Once both nets of equipment had been dropped off on the mountain next to the cave, most of the team hitched a ride in the helicopter up to base camp, leaving six of us to hike up around the back of Conturines - Spitze, the mountain in the Italian Dolomites where the cave lies. However, thanks to fresh deep snow that had fallen the night before, progress was slow and very tiring.
