Bolton, Lancashire, UK. 20th January 2017: A small group of protesters blocked the entrance to A E Yates business premises near the Bolton Wanderers Football stadium today demanding they cease delivering aggregates to the Cuadrilla shalegas site on Preston New Road in Little Plumpton near Blackpool and that they have no further involvement with fracking companies. The aggregate is used to lay foundations for the drillpad and also to allow the heavy supply vehicles onsite without getting bogged down in the soft ground in the field.
