Compare Limosa foeda with L. ' v/ropygialis ; L. hudsonica vrith L. lapponica ; Nv/menius hudsonicus with JV. phcBopus, Pig. 451. —The European Curlew, Numen'ms arquatus, i nat. size. (From Brelim.)
