A group of people leaving the remembrance walk to honour the January 30, 1972, the British Army's Parachute Regiment shot and killed 14 civilians. Victims' families, locals, supporters, and politicians commemorate the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday in Derry. The Prime Minister of Ireland, Micheál Martin, Member of Parliament Mary Lou McDonald, and Simon Coveney, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ireland, all attended this year's event.
