Viewed along the platform towards the level crossing with barriers raised and a clear line and empty platform
Looking down the platform towards Henley on the Henley branch line with the barriers r=in the raised position and the road clear of traffic, there is a lot of signage at this crossing for both train Drivers and road users as this crossing used to be notorious for "near mises" with vehicles and also a few collisions over the years and as a result of those incidents the crossing was given half barriers and also had "enforcement" cameras added so that any incident can be recorded and beamed back direct to control for action response. The train driver must stop at this crossing and perform his "Driver Only Operations0DOO by coming to a stand and opening the doors tehn the trains presence will activate the crossing controls and the barriers will be lowered and instead of a red light showing (absent in picture !) a clear white "proceed" light can be viewed allowing the driver to close his doors and proceed on to Henley station terminus. There is also a sign for the driver to sound the horn as pedestrians sometimes try to cross with the barriers down.
