A "Jäger" or fuslier rifle,Denmark/Norway,beginning 18th century. Rifled barrel,slightly swamped,in 18 mm calibre with adjustable sight,set into the old support. Later rail for attaching a hunting hanger. Converted percussion lock with safety hook. Carved walnut stock with iron furniture,sideplate in the form of a basilisk,patch box. Piston and lockplate stamped crown/"K",sight,barrel,tang and lockplate with number "2549". Year "1790" behind the trigger guard. Stock with signs of use,small repair in the area of the ramrod pipe.
