Sweet William (Dianthus Barbatus) A well-known, attractive, free-flowering hardy perennial, producing a splendid effect in beds and borders with their rich and varied flowers. It is much better to raise new vigorous young plants from seed every season than to divide the old plants; 18 inches. per pkt. 4282 Newport Pink. A distinct new color which originated in one of the far-famed gardens at New- port, R. I. In color it is what florists call water- melon-pink or salmony-rose. Strikingly brilliant and beautiful; the flowers are borne in massive heads on stems 18 inches high. For mid-season mass bedding it has no equal.
