Stepan Galktionov (1779 - 1854). View from Kamenniy Island to Krestovsky and Apothecary islands. End of 1810s. State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg. Reproduction of old postcards. At Kamenniy, Krestovsky Apothecary and Yelagin Islands in the late 18 - early 19 th centuries were built luxurious palaces of St. Petersburg nobility. Around them were defeated by parks and flower beds. In summer there sounded the horn music, arranged a boat trip. These scenic spots have attracted a lot of walking.
