Braueri is very rare in Denmark, we have only three males, two taken on Frederiksberg in earlier time (Staeger), and one taken in Geel Skov on Ve 1921 (the author). The species must be very near to flavipes, but if the two species are really distinct, our species will, as seen from the description of abdomen, be Braueri. I think it is one of our specimens which Zetterstedt mentions 1. c. VIII, thus con- firming that his flavipes var. a is Braueri. I have seen the species in Zetterstedt's collection, and the specimens I saw are in my opinion Braueri.
