Portugal Sintra Pena National Palace


Pena National Palace is located on a rocky ridge above Sintra, on the site of a 16th-century convent, the Convent of Our Lady of Pena. It is one of several palaces in the Sintra Hills, which were awarded UNESCO World Heritage status as a "cultural landsca. New Palace built from 1842 to 1854, on the site of a 16th-century convent.
