The Mermaid of Warsaw (Syrenka Warszawska), a statue on the bank of the River Vistula in the Powiśle district of Warsaw, Poland.
The statue, made of gunmetal by the artist Ludwika Nitschowa, was erected in 1939. The Mermaid of Warsaw is a symbol of Warsaw, represented on the city's coat of arms and well as in a number of statues and other imagery. This is one of a number of sculptures and monumnets of the Mermaid in the city.
