The lawn in front of the Parliament Buildings, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Victoria is the seat of government of the Canadian province of British Columbia. The Neo-baroque building was designed by Francis Rattenbury at the age of 25. He later went on to design many of Victoria's iconic buildings including the Empress Hotel. A 13 foot bronze statue of Queen Victoria stands on the extensive lawn.
