Sainte Cecile Cathedral is the world’s largest brick cathedral,it was designed by Bishop Bernard de Castanet from 1282 to 1380. Considered as the masterpiece of Southern Gothic Art,evidencing the strength of the Catholic Church against the Cathar Heresy.
