OF UNLOADER Means are provided for adjusting thewidth of the pressure arms to suit thevarying width of door openings and arearranged so as to strike the door as closeto the door posts as possible. When thepressure arms first touch the door, theirlower ends are kept above the elevation ofthe highest car floor and are so arrangedthat a slight pressure on the door releasesa telescopic arrangement at the bottom ofthe arms allowing an to comedown until it strikes the door sill. Bythis means the pressure is exerted over thetotal height of the door regardless of theelevation of the car floor and as close tothe door posts as possible, thus avoidingany undue damage to the grain door. This,in itself, is quite an economy, as by theold hand method doors were invariablybroken. The opener enters the grain with an up-ward and inward movement, carrying thedoor above the grain toward the roof of through an angle of about 20° and aboutanother 25 per cent of the grai
