MEMOIR. MEMOIR. EDMUND SHARPE, the only son of Francis Sharpe of Heathfield,Knutsford, Cheshiie, was born at Knutsford on the 31st October, Education. 1809. After a school course at Dr. Burneys, Greenwich, andalso at Sedbergh, he entered at St. Johns College, Cambridge; and, being electedin 1832 Travelling Bachelor of Arts for the University, spent three years in thestudy of Architecture, making a considerable collection of drawings from churchesin France and Germany.
