The queen Victoria ocean going luxury liner named by HRH the Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince of Wales prior to its maiden voyage in December 2007 from Southampton. It weighs 90,000 gross tons, 294 meters long, 36 meters wide and 62 meters high. It has 16 decks with a capacity 2014 passengers and 900 crew. Propelled by two MW Azipod engines and a max speed of 23 owned and operated by Cunard, built at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Italy and cost approx £270 million. It can carry 3000 tons of heavy fuel and 150 tons of marine gas and consumes 12 tons per hour for maximum output.
