Mr. Howe was 1st, withthree bunches of Alicante in two classes for blacks,and with Muscat of Alexandria in a class for whites,all being first-rate. Apples and Pears were abundant and good, so alsowere vegetables in two classes, all Bhown admirably inlarge flat baskets. Messrs. J. Peed & Sons showeda good collection of Apples ; Messrs. Cannell & Sonstwelve fine blooms of Louis Boehmer Chrysanthe-mums ; and Mr. W. Roupell, the Hon. Sec, a finebasket of Grapes. WATFORD CHRYSANTHEMUM. The sixth annual exhibition of the above washeld in the Agricultural Hall, Watford, on Tuesdayand Wednesday, November 3 and 4, and proved, asin former years, a great success, the attendancebeing very large on both days.
