A German wheellock musket, a so-called "Aachener Röhre", circa 1640 Octagonal, smooth barrel, slightly swamped near the muzzle, in 17 mm calibre, on top a dovetailed brass front sight and winged rear sight made from copper, at the breech acorn and eagle marks as well as stamps "T" and "K". Wheellock with external wheel. The pan, the wheel fixation and the cock spring sparsely chiselled. Trigger safety. Elegant, blackened full stock with furniture made from brass and copper.
