Lancashire, UK. 1 July 2018 - The Winter Hill transmission tower, which stands at 1000 metres tall, seen through the smoke from the growing moorland fire on Winter Hill and Rivington Pike which was started a number of days ago. Fire crews from across the UK have converged on Winter Hill to control the blaze which is growing by metres per hour.
