Rice seen being added to the stew. Pilaf is made from lamb or beef, rice, carrots and onions with spices, it is popular not only among the Turkic peoples. Usually this dish is prepared in a special cast-iron pot called cauldron and they are in different sizes ranging from 8 liters to 1000 liters. We used the smallest cauldron.
