PACIFIC OCEAN (March 24, 2021) Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Christian Gomez, a light armored vehicle mechanic with the All Domain Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts an operations checks on his headset before training operations aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), March 24. Navy and Marine Corps integration training provides the Essex Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU its first opportunity to plan, brief, execute multiple mission packages. The Essex ARG is underway conducting routine operations in Third Fleet.
