Ayurveda, India's 5000 year old system of holistic health care, has made a comeback in recent years and is now the feature of many health resorts in Kerala. Born in the Himalayan foothills, it travelled to and was developed in Kerala, India's most southern state, flourishing off an abundance of native flora now used in medical applications.
