CHICAGO (June 30, 2017) United States Marine Corps Veteran Lance Cpl. Sarah Rudder carries the ceremonial torch during to the stage during the opening ceremony of the 2017 Warrior Games at Soldier Field in Chicago. The DoD Warrior Games are an annual event allowing wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to compete in Paralympic-style sports including archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and wheelchair basketball.
