Granger, Painesville, Ohio, Nov. 10, 1891, writes: — Last spring I bought two pounds of your Yellow Globe Southport Onion Seed, which gave the best of satisfaction, raising 400 bushels from the seed. EXTRA EARLY RED ONION. EXTRA EARLY RED. This variety matures very early. It yields abundantly and is of mild flavor ; of medium size, deep-red in color; very close-grained, solid, and heavy. This will often form bulbs in cold and mucky soils, where other varieties fail. It is highly recommended, particularly for the North and Northwest, as even there it will produce full-sized onions from the black seed. Per pkt. 5 cts.; oz. 20cts.; 2 ozs. 35 cts.; % ft> 65 cts.; per ft) $, LARGE RED GLOBE ONION. LARGE RED GLOBE. This is a very handsome variety, and is deserving of general cultivation. It matures quite early (none of the perfectly globe-shaped onions are as early as the flat varieties), grows to a large size, skin deep red; flesh fine-grained, mild, and tender. Per pkt. 5 cts.; oz. 20 cts.; 2 oz. 35 cts.; % ^ 65 cts.; per ft> $, postpaid. SOUTHPORT LARGE YELLOW GLOBE. Like the well-known White Globe Onion, except in color of skin. This is more perfectly globe-shaped than the Globe Danvers, but not so early; an excellent keeper. A popular variety in New England, but in other sec- tions the Globe Danvers is preferred. A heavy cropper, handsome in appearance, and of large size. Per pkt. 10 cts.; oz. 20 cts.; 2 ozs. 35 cts.; 34 ^ 65 ct
