Memorial to the famous children's author E Nesbit. She died on 4th May 1924 aged 65 and is buried at the church of St Mary the Virgin, St Mary in the Marsh, New Romney, Kent. The wooden memorial makes reference to "Mrs Bland-Tucker. Her first husband was Hubert Bland, a bank clerk and her second was Thomas Tucker, who was captain of the Woolwich Ferry.
