ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 4, 2018) -- Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Eric Heavener, from Adrian, Michigan, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) weapons department, receives his frocking letter from Cmdr. Travis Davis, Ford's gun boss, during a promotion ceremony in the ship's weapons handling area. Ford is currently underway conducting test and evaluation operations.
