Little Owl, one of a pair found near Eresos inland Lesbos, Greece.
A Little Owl found sitting rock lookout near small holding in open inland area of Lesbos. It is found widespread and is resident to Lesbos and is equally at home in upland areas and lowland plains, and often around human habitation. Roosts and nests in old stone huts, cattle sheds etc. Many seen on wires and around Skala Kalloni and even nests in Kalloni Two Hotel.
