Silage bags. Silage is fodder stored by farmers to provide animal feedstuff in winter. These bags consist of forage plants such as corn, grasses and legumes. The plants have been finely chopped and stored in these bags which are air and water tight. This allows anaerobic fermentation to occur, yielding a highly nutritious feedstuff.
