The receiptsunder the Smith-Hughes Law are $8,000 plus a proportionate share of $10,000 (divided between ag-riculture, home economics and trade and industrial education) of teacher-training funds. TheGeorge-Barden Law has provided a total of $40,000 a year for the past two years for Trade and In-dustrial Education. The money is spent to operate programs of Trade and Industrial Education and to reimburselocal high schools having trade and industrial education departments.
