The fruit is of uniform size and resembles a peach in shape, size and color, which is a deep rose and orange amber beautifully blended, and covered with a delicate bloom or furze like a peach. It is without a rival for eating from the hand, the flesh being of the most delicious flavor. The skin is very thin, and can be peeled off like that of a peach. The entire fruit is tender and free from core.
