Los Hervideros, Lanzarote
An der Südwestseite von Lanzarote liegt die bizarre Felsküste Los Hervideros zwischen dem Fischerdorf El Golfo und Salinas de Janubio. An der Westseite Lanzarotes zeigt sich der Atlantische Ozean von seiner besonders ungestümen Seite. Die starke Brandung bietet beste Voraussetzungen für die herannahenden Wellen, sich durch die Felsspalten zu zwängen und als meterhohe Fontänen in die Luft zu schießen. Dass die Lavafelsen teilweise eingebrochen und ausgehöhlt sind, ist ebenfalls der Brandung zu verdanken. Im Hintergrund beeindrucken die hohen Vulkankrater des Timanfaya-Gebirges. On the south side of Lanzarote the bizarre cliffs Los Hervideros is located between the fishing village of El Golfo and Salinas de Janubio . On the west side of Lanzarote , the Atlantic Ocean shows its particularly boisterous side . The strong surf offers the best conditions for the approaching waves to squeeze through the crevices and shoot as meter high fountains in the air .
