Between two profiles with a blue horizontal line, a printed and imposed monogram is embossed with the letters 'G R' (George Rex, or King George of England) in a medallion with leaves. Stylized leaf vines engraved around the medallion. At the ear the hinge for a pewter frame, the lid is missing.
