The plan-ning of those buildings from native ma-terial and the overseeing of a hundred workmen is no small matter when theother mission work must be looked afterat the same time. This coming yearBro. Crumpacker goes home on fur-lough, leaving the work in charge ofBro. Vaniman and Dr. Wampler. LIAO CHOU STATION LIAO CHOU is a three days don-key ride south of Ping Ting. Wefirst visited it when BrethrenCrumpacker and Hilton, in companywith Rev. Corbin, made their itineratingtrip through this place. Later made several preachingtrips through this district. When Bro. Hilton returned to Chinawith six others, in the fall of 1911, wemade repeated efforts to rent propertyin this district and at last found suitableproperty at Liao Chou. As soon as theRevolution was over sufficiently to per-mit inland travel, Bro. Hilton moved tothis city and began to make preparationfor the party who were still at the coaststudying. He was very busy duringthe summer, renting property and re-pairing it for the new homes, but nottoo busy to open preaching services,after two weeks, in his own home.
