PACIFIC OCEAN (June 23, 2022) – Lt. Ashly Rothrock, the ship’s dental officer, and her family pose for a photo on the flight deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) during a family day cruise. Friends and family members were invited aboard Anchorage to experience a day in the life of a Sailor at sea first-hand. Anchorage is currently home ported in San Diego as part of Amphibious Squadron SEVEN, along with USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26) and USS Makin Island (LHD 8).
