Wat Ounalom, a Buddhist temple in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Considered the focal point for Buddhism in Cambodia today. It was built in1443 to house an eyebrow hair of the Buddha. At one point more than 500 monks lived on its grounds but it was badly damaged and many of the monks killed by the Khmer Rouge during the days of their rein. The pagoda was restored once the Khmer Rouge were ousted from Phnom Penh.
