ISLAND OF EIGG, SCOTLAND - 30th OCTOBER 2007: Stuart MacPherson from Energy Renewed, the company erecting the four 6KW Proven Energy wind turbines begins to winch up the first turbine tower. Once erected on Eigg, the four 6KW wind turbines will contribute significantly to the Hebredean island's new electricity system which is based on renewable energy and will provide continuous 24 hours a day power for the islanders for the first time. The island has no electricity connection with the mainland.
