Proboscis absent; palpi obliquely upturned, not reaching vertex of head; antennee of male serrate and fasciculate; head, thorax, abdomen, and legs clothed with rough hair ; tibiae with the spurs short. Fore wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell; 5 from above angle ; 6 from upper angle ; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 stalked, 10 from beyond 7.
