Diver and hawksbill turtle. Female diver using scuba diving equipment while swimming with a hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata). This is the smallest of the marine turtles, rarely more than a metre in length. It lives in warm seas and oceans worldwide, preferring shallow water. It eats mainly crustaceans and fish. Photographed at Vaavu Atoll, in the Maldives, an island nation in the Indian Ocean.
