It further appearing to the commission that near the said crossings here-inabove referred to and petitioned for by the said petitioner, the Chicago &Eastern Illinois Railroad crosses the track of the Illinois Central Railroad,and it further appearing to the commission that in order to protect life andproperty at said points and to protect such crossings at said points, so that. 21 said several crossings will not unnecessarily iiiipede or endanger the travelor transportation upon said railroads so crossed by the said petitioner at saidpointc, there should be an interlocking plant installed for the purpose ofprotecting the crossings herein named and prayed for by said petitioner, andalso the crossing of the Illinois Central Railroad Company with the Chicago& Eastern Illinois Railroad Company at said point hereinabove referred to,which crossing of said roads is fully set forth on said Commissioners PlatNo. 6, marked Exhibit A, and hereinabove referred to. It is further ordered, adjudged and decreed by the commission that beforecrossing the said Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad or the Illinois CentralRailroad, except as hereinafter provided at said point, that the said peti-tioner, the Egyptian Southern Railway Company, shall install an interlock-ing plant of approved design at said c
