Some green- house men use gas all of the time for heat and some only part of the time. Various Notes. Gustav Schneider has about com- pleted the rebuilding of his place after a fire. Two houses and a potting shed are finished and in use. The other three houses are rapidly nearing completion. B. C Blake is erecting a new green- house, 20x80 feet, to take care of his increasing trade. The potting shed is completed and half of the roofbars are in place. J. O. Click is also improving his place. One house, 14x90 feet, is ready for the roofbars and two others, 22x125 and 10x125 feet, are contemplated for this fall. The Good & Reese Co. is installing two 90-horsepower boilers in a new con- crete boiler house, which will be equipped with iron stairs and with an electric hoist for ashes and will be up- to-date in every way. Harold McGregor, having sold his in- terests in the McGregor Bros, Co., is building a range to grow shrubbery and geraniums. He expects to have his houses ready by September 1. The Springfield Floral Co. is rebuild- ing the entire south side of its place, which has not been used for several years.
