IX ESTABLISHED 1894 R. C. LANGE & SON 3339 No. Whipple St. CHICAGO, ILL. Mr. Horst advised some of his friends and customers in their garden planning. A. Newell has booked a good many Easter orders. When regular customers come into the store the advantage of early Easter buying is suggested. In most cases the customer gives his order, telling about how much he wants to spend and leaving the selection and ar- rangement to the clerk. This will' help out a good deal at Easter time, Mr. Newell believes. T. J. Noll has returned from a three weeks' trip through the east. He spent several days with his son and daughter in Michigan. In Chicago he met Ove Gnatt, who invited him to visit the La Porte plant. Mr. Gnatt telephoned that Mr. Noll was on the way and he was met at the station and taken through the factory. Mr. Noll said the visit was exceedingly interesting and he was glad he made it. Henry Kusik & Co. are cleaning up every day. They are well satisfied with this much of the year's showing, which is better than 1921. Samuel Murray had a good week. Or- ders of all kinds were received on a liberal scale. W. N. De Graaff, of Noordwyk, Hol- land, waa in the city last week. Mrs. Winifred Noll has gone to New Orleans to visit her parents. A. A. Ackerson had thirty-five orders for one funeral recently. Mr. Ackerson has joined the F. T. D. Miss L. E. Boggess was busy up to closing time every day last week, Satur- day being especially heavy. March 11 was like a holiday in the store of the W. L. Rock Flower Co. For two or three hours in the afternoon the clerks were swamped. J. E. K
