A Canosan volute krater, Apulia, 2nd century BC. Reddish clay. Tapered body on a narrow foot, the volute handles on both sides decorated with three-dimensional gorgoneia. The outside with (rubbed) polychromatic painting, quadriga on the neck, the body with one female head and two genii, the shoulder with lattice pattern. Glued clay fragments. Height cm.
